NOIDA: A case for dacoity has been registered in opposition to the managing director of Jaypee Group, its safety in-charge and some different officers for allegedly robbing apparatus price round Rs three lakh from a farmer’s plot.
Expressway police have registered the FIR beneath Section 395 (dacoity) of the IPC and have named managing director Sameer Gaur, safety in-charge Colonel Tiwana (retd), two senior officers, Naushad Ali and Mangal Singh, and “masses of guards.”

When TOI called up Gaur for a response, he stated “I don’t know anything in regards to the case” and disconnected the phone.

The police action adopted a complaint via farmer Gunveer Singh, who alleged that the Jaypee officers held three of his caretakers hostage and forcibly took away iron rods, tin shades and different apparatus kept in his plot on Saturday evening.

Singh stated he owned a three,920sq. plot in Gejha Tilaptabad village along the Noida Expressway, round which the Jaypee Group is development a housing society. According to the farmer, he owned round 20 acres until 1997, when the Noida Authority received portions of his land for growing the Noida Expressway.

The farmer stated he had approached the district management just lately when he spotted some folks had encroached on his land and publish unauthorised hoardings. Subsequently, a workforce from the revenue department visited his plot last month and urged him to do a fencing of his land as part of a demarcation workout.

The farmer stated he fenced his plot with iron sheets and rods and employed three caretakers — Rohit, Neeraj and Deepak — to protect the land.

According to the FIR, Jaypee safety in-charge Tiwana, Naushad Ali, Mangal Singh and “masses of guards” visited the plot on Saturday evening on the instructions MD Gaur. The MD, however, used to be now not on the spot, the FIR stated.

“They bundled the 3 caretakers into an SUV and snatched their cell phones. Then, they robbed iron rods, tin sheets and some different apparatus and loaded them onto tractors. They left where after threatening the caretakers with dire consequences,” Singh stated.


“They also took away a motor used to pump water. The things that had been robbed can be price at least Rs three lakh,” he added.


Vedpal Singh Pundir, SHO of Expressway police station, stated a case for dacoity beneath Section 395 of the IPC have been registered in opposition to Gaur and the others. “We are investigating the topic,” he stated.


If proved in charge, the accused could face life term or rigorous imprisonment as much as 10 years at the side of a high-quality.
