GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad Development Authority has requested the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) to arrange a complete mobility plan for 3 busy stretches in the city. A letter on this regard has been written by the GDA vice-chairperson to CRRI, officers stated.
The stretches identified by the GDA as traffic-snarl susceptible are from Ghanta Ghar to Bhatia More on GT Road, Modinagar along NH-58 and Indirapuram.
Apart from this, the GDA has sought a feasibility record from CRRI for a multi-level parking close to Swarn Jyanti Park in Indirapuram within one week.
The GDA had lately signed a memorandum of figuring out with CRRI for making a complete mobility plan for all the city. Officials stated it had been agreed that a short and long-term plan aimed toward decongesting the town’s roads can be ready along with tips on changing the street design at busy intersections.
“The CRRI needed to submit a complete mobility plan in nine months. But given the state of affairs at the city’s roads, we shortlisted 3 places the place we wish to get started operating immediately.
