Kerosene bombs hurled on BJP office in Coimbatore

COIMBATORE: Unidentified males hurled two kerosene bombs on the BJP district place of job in Coimbatore within the early hours of Wednesday.
The incident happened round 3.20am. One of the kerosene bombs hit a flex board on the construction, and the other exploded on the VKK Menon Road in entrance of the birthday celebration place of job.

The incident was once obviously recorded on CCTV cameras at the birthday celebration place of job.

A police constable, who was once on accountability the BJP place of job, attempted to chase the men who threw the bombs. However, he could now not nab them.

Deputy commissioner of police P Perumal and staff rushed to the spot and held inquiries with the cop and birthday celebration cadre. Additional police staff had been deployed at the birthday celebration place of job.


Three special teams have been formed to nab the culprits.


"We think members of the Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam are behind the attack. We have collected vital evidences and will nab them soon," stated Perumal.


The incident happened an afternoon after BJP chief H Raja tweeted, “Who is Lenin and what is the connection between Lenin and India? What connection has India with communists? Lenin's statue has been got rid of in Tripura. Today it's Lenin's statue in Tripura, the following day it is going to be the statue of caste fanatic EVR Ramasamy.” Though Raja got rid of the tweet, quite a lot of outfits staged protest in opposition to him and burnt his effigies in several portions of Tamil Nadu.
