KHANNA: Less than per week after three participants of a family were discovered brutally murdered at Chehlan village in Samrala, police has arrested the self-styled godman (tantrik) who had allegedly slaughtered them for money after making them subconscious.
The accused used to be recognized as 45-year-old Vipin Jain, of Jain Colony at Daba road, who aside from being a tantrik labored as an autorickshaw motive force as well.
On Friday afternoon, Sukhdev Singh, who labored as guard in factory, his spouse 42-year-old Gurmeet Kaur and younger son Harjot Singh (22), who at the start belonged to Mirpur village in Fatehgarh Sahib district, were discovered lifeless at three separate places in their rented area in Chehlan village.
Giving details, Inspector General of Police (IG) Jalandhar Zone 2, Arpit Shukla mentioned that on March 2, police had lodged a case of homicide in opposition to unidentified accused at Samrala police station at the commentary of Jatinder Singh son of Sukhdev Singh. He added that after that police started investigation into the matter and on March 4 Rajinder Singh of Mirpur recorded his commentary with police that the accused got here to him and admitted having killed Sukhdev and his two different family members.
Police officer mentioned that after recording his commentary, Samrala police started investigation at the disclosure made by means of him. He added that on March 6, police took the complainant alongside to search the accused and when they were reached near Neelon Bus stand at five pm they found three-wheeler bearing quantity PB1310CL-2606 looking forward to passengers.
IG mentioned that the throughout the interrogation he revealed his name as Vipin Jain. He added that after that the accused used to be arrested within the case.
