MUMBAI: The state executive has introduced judicial inquiry into technique of land acquisition in Dhule for an influence plant mission which led to the suicide of farmer Dharma Patil who consumed poison in Mantralaya on January 22.
Energy minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule mentioned the legislative assembly on Wednesday that the government will finalise the name of a retired pass judgement on who will preside the inquiry and the file might be submitted in subsequent 3 months.
"The process of land acquisition started since 2012 and there are many issues that needs to be looked at and which the inquiry will reveal," mentioned Bawankule. He mentioned that now, the government has proposed to provide an ex gratia of Rs 15 lakh in line with hectare to the Patil family and other mission affected farmers in Dhule.
Patil along side his Narendra had been operating from pillar to publish seeking greater repayment that used to be finalized at the rate of Rs 2.18 lakh in line with hectare and they both got Rs 24 lakh and Rs 23 lakh respectively as in opposition to his neighbour who used to be paid Rs 1.89 crore for land parcel smaller than Patil's.
Earlier, leader of opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil alleged that middle-men had been curious about land acquisition for the proposed energy mission. Vikhe Patil had sought stern action in opposition to middle-men and action must be taken in opposition to these males.
He informed that barring Dharma Patil and Narendra Patil, no farmer in this village Vikaran accepted the land repayment. Bavankule informed that the issue of land acquisition used to be spread across 199 hectares of land, of the affected farmers simplest narendra patil and Dharma patil accepted the repayment under the land acquisition act.
“Under the land acquisition act, there is not any provision of revising the volume as soon as the repayment is accepted,” the minister mentioned.
One has to transport the civil court for revising the repayment, which used to be no longer performed, he claimed.
Bawankule mentioned that the the neighbour got upper repayment because his farm had Pomegranate trees and Patil's farm had simplest mango saplings, that too weren't accounted for in 2012.
