BJP’s efficiency this time — profitable 11 of 20 seats contested — has been the most productive because it started contesting the polls in Nagaland in 2013.
Naga People’s Front (NPF) has emerged as the one greatest birthday celebration with 27 seats while National People’s Party (NPP), which had sponsored NPF, has won two. On Friday, NPF had submitted a letter to governor PB Acharya informing him of its pre-poll figuring out with NPP. JD(U) apprised him of its decision to make TR Zeliang the alliance’s CM candidate.
But in a remarkable turnaround, JD(U) made up our minds to back the NDPP-BJP alliance on Saturday.
