MUMBAI: There shall be no change within the status of Mahim Nature Park after it's integrated within the Dharavi Development Plan (DP), said housing minister Prakash Mehta on Wednesday. The park, he said, was once all the time part of Dharavi, but was once excluded when the slum was once carved into 5 sectors for redevelopment. Also, in Dharavi’s redevelopment, the government can have a 51% fairness proportion and 49% shall be given to a developer to be appointed thru a world delicate. Since 1997, that is the seventh strive by the government to modify Dharavi’s fortunes.
“Since the DP is now being ready, it was once determined to incorporate the park within the plan. But there is not any change in reservation. It will remain a park and is probably not built upon,” Mehta said.
