RAJKOT: A lady, identified as Nikita Anil Lodhiya (25), jumped to her death from the balcony of her 9th ground flat in Mota Mahuva village on Kalavad Road in Rajkot on Tuesday.
Police are but to determine the explanation in the back of her suicide.
According to police, Lodhiya jumped from the balcony of her 9th ground flat in Shelanium Apartments on Tuesday morning.
Police said that the deceased, a divorcee, was living along with her oldsters after isolating from her husband shortly after marriage. She used to work as a salesgirl in a cosmetics showroom on Yagnik Road.
Lodhiya’s mom had scolded her overdue night on Monday for constantly speaking on the mobile phone. This might be the cause of the deceased taking the extreme step, suspect police. However, the exact explanation why for her suicide will likely be recognized best after statements of all members of the family are recorded.
Lodhiya’s father is a silver ornament trader.
