Noida Authority frees land worth Rs 7.5 crore

Noida: Noida Authority on Tuesday demolished and sealed homes grabbed by 10 villagers at Gadhi Chaukhandi village in Sector 121.
The accused had taken over 1,500 sq. metres of land price Rs 7.5 crore even after being paid repayment for the same. The pressure was once carried out within the presence of Noida tehsildar, the SP (city) and officials from Phase III police station.

ACEO RK Mishra stated, “We won a tip-off that the land got by the Authority in 2006-07 was once grabbed by 10 villagers. The repayment for the same was once additionally settled however they were not vacating the land and illegal actions had been being carried out right here,” Noida tehsildar Veer Singh stated.


An under-construction building was once additionally sealed by the Authority.


The Authority has recognized ten persons responsible for occupying the land together with Kalu Yadav, Jitendra Yadav, Mainpal Yadav, Jitendra Yadav, Bablu Yadav, Rambhool Yadav, Titu, Atul Yadav, Godhan and Kavita Sharma. According to officials, that they had earlier on March 15 tried to fend the illegal structure actions on those plots too however the villagers tried to hinder the similar.


Subsequently, the Authority on March 16 sent a letter to the Phase III police to resort an FIR in opposition to those persons beneath ‘The Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984’. The FIR is but to be lodged within the case.
