‘Padmaavat’ box-office collection sixth week: Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film becomes year’s first blockbuster

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debatable historic saga ‘Padmaavat’ created a storm at the box-office when it in any case launched after many hurdles on January 25, 2018.

According to a file on BoxOfficeIndia.com, the film earned Rs four crore within the sixth week of its theatrical run. With this the film has accumulated Rs 279.84 crore, making it the first blockbuster of 2018.

All eyes are actually set at the Rs 300 crore mark as 'Padmaavat', previous titled 'Padmavati', is doing rather well within the Mumbai, West Bengal and South India circuits.

Several Bollywood celebrities had come out praising the film or even took to social media to laud the performances of the actors and to call the film a visible pride as a result of its impeccable sets and background, which is likely one of the top issues of each and every Bhansali film.
