‘Pari’ box office collection Day 1

‘Pari’, the Bollywood horror flick starring Anushka Sharma within the lead, has opened to a lukewarm reaction at the home box-office. The spookfest reportedly earned an estimated Rs four crore nett on its opening day at the price tag window, according to a file on BoxofficeIndia.com.
The film noticed a better opening than Anushka’s previous home manufacturing ‘Phillauri’ which grossed 3.86 crore nett. Last month, Pakistan banned 'PadMan' - a film on menstrual hygiene - as it dealt with a "taboo subject".


Starring Anushka Sharma,Rajat Kapoor, Ritabhari Chakraborty, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Parambrata Chatterjee, the film launched national on March 2.
