PM Modi asks BJP CMs to work hard to take govt's flagship measures to masses

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday requested the manager ministers of the BJP-led states to work laborious to take his government's flagship welfare measures like medical insurance for the deficient, and electricity and space for all, to the hundreds as the celebration gears up for the next Lok Sabha polls in 2019, celebration resources stated.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh told reporters that the problem of simultaneous polls, strengthening the organisation further ahead of the next Lok Sabha polls, and taking the celebration's construction time table to the deficient were a number of the issues discussed at the assembly which lasted for over 5 hours.

All BJP leader ministers, barring Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, and 6 deputy leader ministers were present in the assembly which was attended through most sensible celebration leaders, including its president Amit Shah and Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley but even so the high minister among others.




A key matter at the assembly's time table was the central government's proposal to have a Rs 5 lakh clinical quilt for 10 crore deficient households, the Chhattisgarh leader minister stated.


"We discussed key planks of our good governance agenda and the chief ministers highlighted what they have been doing in this aspect," Singh stated, adding that the work to take electricity to all families through subsequent 12 months and offering a house to all households through 2022 was also reviewed.


On simultaneous polls, Singh stated the celebration is keen to enforce it and discussed measures on this regard.
