RANCHI: BJP and Congress both managed to win one seat every in the biennial elections to the council of states, results of that have been declared after a midnight drama and objections filed by way of both BJP and Congress with the election commission of India.
BJP candidate Samir Oraon managed to get the minimum required the fortify of 27 MLAs and he gained comfortably but the election process for the second one seat remained mired in controversy till overdue in the night. Late into the night, the results were given a contemporary twist again when both BJP and UPA registered objections with the ECI as soon as again.
