BENGALURU: The Supreme Court’s directive to put into effect its February nine, 2017 order to revise the promotion checklist of government workers within a month has come as a setback for the Congress executive.
The executive has been dragging its toes on the delicate issue for roughly a year as a result of the impending meeting polls.


In January, the SC had slammed the federal government for now not complying with its February nine directive and had set a cut-off date of March.
