KARWAR: A man accused of stalking a lady pupil in Kodigadde village in Magod, Honnavar, which left the woman with self-inflicted injuries a few months in the past, was arrested in Bengaluru on Friday. Ganesh Naik, 22, was dropped at Honnavar and produced earlier than the magistrate on Saturday.

The shopkeeper and villagers claimed they would seen two youths from any other community moving round on a bike. Soon, this false news spread within the taluk and resulted in any other bout of violence. Later, she published the reality to a magistrate, and docs qualified that her injuries were self-inflicted.
