Fifty-five-year-old A Kala of Sirupoolavapatty was driving pillion on a scooter when a bus dashed towards the vehicle on Perumanallur Road in the city. Kala, who was seriously injured, was rushed to a personal sanatorium in Coimbatore, the place she was declared introduced lifeless.
In every other incident, P Subramaniyan of Kanakkampalayam was hit through a scooter near Meenakshi Nagar Bus Stop in Perumanallur. The 84-year-old pedestrian, who sustained accidents, died at the Tirupur Government Hospital.
V Nagarajan of Kongu Main Road was thrown off from his bike when he was passing through Pooluvapatti Pirivu-Vavipalayam Road on Saturday. He succumbed to the wounds at the Rajiv Gandhi General Government Hospital in Chennai on Tuesday.
