ALLAHABAD: A man allegedly killed his spouse and two minor daughters in village Chakla Guru Baba underneath Karvi police station in Chitrakoot district in wee hours of Friday. He later surrendered prior to the police and confessed to the crime.
The police have arrested Ajeet Raidas, the accused. The deceased were known as Maina Devi (32) and her two daughters Nandini (eight) and Pinki (6).
SP, Chitrakoot, Pratap Gopendra informed TOI, “Ajeet killed his spouse on suspicion of her having an illicit courting with a grocery shop owner”. Ajeet runs a small shop within the village, he added.
Ajeet’s father Dayaram informed police that the family had dinner together and went to sleep on Thursday night time. He further added that later within the night time, Ajeet slit his spouse’s throat and killed his daughters napping in some other room.
At round 4am, Maina Devi ran out of her room in the hunt for assist but may just no longer live on. Before the family members may just understand the rest, Ajeet went to some other room the place his daughters were napping and killed them one by one. He then locked himself in a room and later went to the police for confession.
Police mentioned it's been found that the accused was influenced via his uncle (chacha) who provoked him to kill his spouse and youngsters. Accused’s uncle has been detained for interrogation, mentioned the police.
