HUBBALLI: Dharwad district in-charge minister Vinay Kulkarni has won every other danger letter from unknown other people. This time, the letter has also been despatched to the places of work of various media organizations, including The Times of India.
The three-page letter in Kannada — won on Saturday — threatens to kill Kulkarni and his family members in the end of time. “We have a robust network in India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq and different nations and killing you (Kulkarni) is not a difficult job for us although you may have 4-Five gunmen safety,” the letter reads.
Identifying themselves as Yakub Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, the senders alleged that Kulkarni cheated minister H Okay Patil. “You (Kulkarni) have also murdered our close good friend Yogeeshgouda and spoiled the life of his wife Mallamma. We will avenge this homicide,” the letter added.
Police commissioner M N Nagaraj advised STOI that ok safety has already been supplied to Kulkarni. “We have prompt our DCP to conduct an investigation on the common letters despatched from unknown persons,” he added.
