Late musician Gangubai Hangal's house has been one of the vital famous landmarks of Hubballi-Dharwad. The area now has an added reason why to be at the listing of tradition aficionados. Her grandson Manoj Hangal, president of Gangubai Hangal Music Foundation, says, “Our house is an open level for classical musicians. Those who've been trained in classical song have our sincere invitation to come and perform here.” Manoj provides, “Today, people are occupied with film songs and western songs, however we urge that individuals in Dharwad not to omit their roots when checking them out. We have to save our song custom. I offer our residence to the all classical singers. These can also be someone, their accepting the invitation is my pleasure.”
