2 women get life for killing brother’s wife

AHMEDABAD: A city classes courtroom on Monday sentenced two ladies of Sardarnagar area of town to lifestyles for killing their brother’s spouse 4 years in the past.

Additional classes judge D P Mahida observed within the verdict that the duo — Jayshree Sujwani and Rani Vaghadia — had dedicated a heinous crime by burning their sister-in-law, Usha Akash Sujwani, alive which was once proved within the demise declaration of the sufferer and therefore no mercy can also be proven against the convicts.


According to the police data, Usha was once staying at her in-laws’ place in Sardarnagar where Jayshree and Rani used to indulge in scuffle with their brother Akash over some monetary problems. To pacify her sister-in-laws, Usha used to inform them to settle the topic with their brother. On April 30, 2014, when Usha again asked the 2 sisters to go for a calm solution, they started arguments with her. It quickly took an ugly flip when the duo poured kerosene on Usha and set her on hearth. Usha was once rushed to the civil medical institution in Asarwa where she named the 2 sisters in her demise declaration ahead of police.


Public prosecutor Ramesh Patni had earlier submitted ahead of the courtroom that the demise declaration can also be substantiated with the corroborative proof of the case and demanded stern punishment for the sisters which was once accredited by the courtroom.
