CHENNAI: A 23-year-old actor has lodged a police grievance pointing out that three males illegally detained her in a space at Kundrathur and raped her on Sunday, prior to making away together with her 5 sovereign (40g) gold chain price ?1.2 lakh and ?3,000 in money.
The males lured her to the home after promising her a task in a film, the actor informed the Kundrathur police. After they trapped her, she stated, they sexually assaulted her and videographed the act, threatening to post the clips on social networking sites if she lodged a police grievance.
The police started a seek for the 3 suspects based on bodily descriptions from the actor, an investigating officer stated. The actor received a telephone name every week ago from a man who recognized himself as a film producer named Kumar, he stated.
“The man stated he sought after to meet her relating to a task in a film he used to be making, and asked arranged for them to meet at a location in Porur,” the officer stated.
“When she got there, two males on a motorcycle approached her and stated they'd take her to meet the producer. They booked a cab and one in every of them got in together with her whilst the other followed at the motorbike.”
When they got to a space in Kundrathur, they locked her within and raped her at knifepoint, the actor informed the police.
After removing her gold chain and money, the men booked a cab and sent the actor house, she stated.
