GUWAHATI: The state unit of All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC) will take part within the 48-hour all-India bank strike from May 30 to May 31 underneath the banner of United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU).
An AIBOC observation stated the strike is in opposition to the pending wage revision of bank officials and staff. It stated the wage revision is due since November 1, 2017 but there have been no efforts on the a part of the Indian Banks Association and the central executive to give effect to the revision.
