COIMBATORE: Anna University regional centers in Coimbatore, Madurai and Tirunelveli would get started offering undergraduate (UG) lessons from the present educational year, introduced chief minister Edappadi Okay Palaniswami in the town on Thursday.

“The choice was taken after the state government gained repeated requests to offer UG lessons in regional centres. This transfer would benefit students from economically backward sections of society to get quality professional schooling at a nominal price,” the executive minister mentioned.
Sources in the higher schooling division mentioned that the plan to begin UG lessons was mooted two years in the past as strength of postgraduate students at regional centres got here down step by step.
