Belagavi: Leaders of BJP and JD(S) claimed credit for establishing the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha (SVS) in Belagavi whilst Congress blamed each events for failing to stay the guarantees made to the people of the five villages prior to acquiring their lands for the construction.
