BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday introduced a money award of Rs 1 lakh to Sesha Kisan, a chemical scientist who rose from humble beginnings in a Sambalpur village to acquiring a submit on the University of Gottingen in Germany.
"Delighted to meet Sesha Kisan, whose journey from grazing cattle in a village in Sambalpur to obtaining a position at the prestigious George August University of Gottingen, Germany, is an inspiration to all. Felicitated him and wished him the best," Naveen tweeted after felicitating Sesha here on the state secretariat.
Sesha hails from Balasingha village in Naktideoli block of the district. The 24-year-old, who joined the German university as a research associate, earns Rs 2 lakh as a per thirty days stipend, mentioned an official statement issued through the chief minister's place of business.
The leader minister, in his Facebook submit, mentioned Sesha was once born in an agricultural circle of relatives. He misplaced his mom at a tender age and his father in his teens. "Despite immense struggles and suffering, he did not lose sight of his dreams and worked hard to achieve them," Naveen mentioned.
