Congress MLA protests against Reliance's RNAVAL

GANDHINAGAR: The Congress MLA from Rajula Ambrish Der noticed a one-day dharma in Gandhinagar to protest towards the Reliance Naval and Engineering Limited (RNAVAL) because it has defaulted on paying the dues of the 150 distributors and traders.

Der said those distributors and traders had given several services and products together with provide of subject material to RNAEL, but the company has no longer paid the dues working into crores of rupees to the distributors and traders.


Der speaking over telephone said, “We had demanded two-day dharna but used to be granted permission for in the future. We noticed dharma from 10 am to five pm and now we're meeting the Chief Secretary JN Singh to appraise him of the location and seek his intervention."


“I determined to join the dharna to attract the eye of the government as those distributors have been on a dharna at Pipavav Port, where RNAVAL is located, for almost two months. Despite the dharna the company had failed to even pay a unmarried rupee. I also sat on a dharna for in the future at Pipavav, but there used to be no response. Pipavav is a part of my Rajula Assembly constituency,” he said.


He further said that RNAEL is the a personal sector company in India to acquire licence and contract to construct and service warships, he further said that if the state govt failed to bring about an answer, he would take the combat to Delhi and would even sit down on dharna with those distributors and service provider.
