CS assault case: Sisodia asked to join probe

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police on Wednesday sent a notice to deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, asking him to sign up for the investigation in terms of alleged attack of chief secretary Anshu Prakash in February.
Sisodia shall be wondered on Friday at 11 am.

The deputy chief minister was sent the awareness on Wednesdat to sign up for the probe, days after chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was wondered for over 3 hours in reference to the topic, police stated.

Prakash was allegedly attacked all the way through a meeting at Kejriwal's legitimate place of abode on February 19. Police stated the executive minister was provide when the alleged attack came about.

The police have already wondered 11 AAP MLAs provide at the chief minister's place of abode for the meeting.

Two of the birthday party MLAs -- Amantullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal -- had been arrested in the case.


Last month, Kejriwal's personal secretary Bibhav Kumar and birthday party volunteer Vivek Kumar had been also wondered in reference to the case.


Kejriwal, his former marketing consultant V K Jain and Sisodia had been also provide in the meeting. Jain was also wondered in the case.


On February 23, a police group had tested the CCTV device put in at the chief minister's place of abode in the Civil Lines space and seized the arduous disk. The forensic document at the arduous disk remains to be awaited.


The alleged attack at the chief secretary had brought about a sour tussle between the Delhi government and its bureaucrats.
