The Bhubaneswar Cycling and Adventure Club (BCAC) arranged the three rd version of Cycling beneath the Stars with greater than 70 cyclists from different parts of Odisha. The match was hung on Saturday night time with the participants riding round 180 kilometres from Bhubaneswar to Puri then to Konark and again to Bhubaneswar on Sunday morning. Cyclists wearing Neon- green jersey, helmet and reflective straps with lighting fixtures at the entrance and tail end in their bikes offered a impressive view for the general public. The adventure was quite distinctive as 70 cyclists together with bureaucrats, marketers, students moved during the busy city roads of Bhubaneswar, while riding thru strong headwinds till Puri, offering normal prayer at Bada-Danda (Grand Road) in entrance of Jagannath Temple, savouring a delicious dinner at Puri, transferring at the utter silence zone of Puri-Konark Marine Drive, taking power naps at the seaside of Chandrabhaga and experiencing a thundershower in the wee-hours of the morning.
