KOLKATA: The Alipore zoo has issued a understand cautioning guests towards feeding leaves and end result from bushes in the lawn to the animals, in the wake of the Nipah virus scare in portions of the country.

Every day, fruit and leaves from the bushes are found strewn around at the floor. Several guests collect them and check out to feed the animals, mentioned zoo assets.


Zoo group of workers have also been prompt to wash the campus of fruit and leaves lying at the floor at common intervals. “We are sweeping where steadily to verify there are not any end result strewn around,” mentioned a member of the cleansing group of workers.
