Ex-Andhra speaker Ramachandra Reddy dead

HYDERABAD: Former speaker of Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and former minister P Ramachandra Reddy, kicked the bucket right here in Hyderabad.
Reddy, 89, breathed his final at his place of dwelling in SR Nagar on Saturday evening, circle of relatives resources stated.

Two days in the past, he fell in the bathroom, they stated.

Reddy is survived by way of spouse, two sons and a daughter.

He was once born on December three, 1929 in a middle-class agricultural circle of relatives in Marepalli village in Kondapur mandal of Medak district.

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his deep condolences over the death of Ramachandra Reddy and recalled his long affiliation with him.

He was once elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Sangareddy constituency four instances on the Congress price tag and as soon as as an impartial.


In 1989, Reddy was once elected as the speaker of the legislative assembly when M Chenna Reddy was once the executive minister.


Since 1999, Reddy disassociated himself from the Congress party.


In 2004, he unsuccessfully contested on a BJP price tag from the Medak Lok Sabha constituency.
