NEW DELHI: A brawl in a west Delhi nightclub overdue on Sunday over the choice of songs being played ended in the DJ stabbing a health club owner to demise and smashing a lager bottle at the head of a girl, leaving her injured. The 25-year-old DJ was once arrested from the spot.
It all began 3 hours into the birthday party that the deceased man, Vijaydeep (34), and 8 of his friends have been attending in Raftaar, the nightclub in Punjabi Bagh. At 11.45pm, DJ Yuri alias Deepak Bisht announced the following tune would be the remaining of the evening. Hearing this, Rajinder, one of those partying with Vijaydeep, signalled the DJ to play every other monitor. Getting no response, Rajinder entered the DJ’s console and repeated his request.

“The DJ snubbed me and asked me to return to the dance flooring. When I refused, he flung the cap off the pinnacle and opened my patka, and then a scuffle happened,” Rajinder mentioned.
