BENGALURU: Namma Metro products and services had been disrupted for 39 mins on Monday morning after a technical glitch hit the Byappanahalli-Mysuru Road Purple Line, inconveniencing commuters, particularly office-goers.
A BMRCL remark stated a signalling failure took place at the access level of Byappanahalli station at 10.18am as a result of which trains couldn’t arrive or go away till the device used to be manually reset and restored by means of 10.57am. However, BMRCL said that 16 tokens — 5 at Byappanahalli, 5 at Indiranagar and 6 at Mysuru Road stations — for a value of Rs 340 had been refunded during the length.
