GURUGRAM: The Haryana government’s four-year-old pilot programme — to provide government college scholars getting ready for centered IIT JEE training at school, in collaboration with Avanti, an NGO — has once more borne fruit.
Six scholars of Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Jacobpura — the only college in the state chosen below the pilot scheme — cleared the JEE Mains exam this year, whose consequence was released on April 30. The programme, which was introduced in 2013-14, had 31 scholars, 11 of whom cleared the JEE Main. In 2014-15, seven of 26 cleared the exam, while in 2015-16, the rating was six of 31. The chosen scholars got tutored for 4 hours daily by way of teachers from Avanti. Rahul Sharma, whose all India rank is 1,40,000, mentioned, “The training helped us transparent our doubts.
