GURUGRAM: Disappointed with the response of the district management as well as the state executive to Hindutva outfits disrupting namaz at a number of public puts on Friday, the Muslim neighborhood has made up our minds to carry a meeting on Sunday to speak about their long term course of action. Community leaders blamed the management for no longer doing enough to discourage those outfits.
Sube Singh Bohra, former Wazirabad village headman who is at the leading edge of the opposition to namaz at open spaces, declared CM Manohar Lal Khattar might be only responsible "if any untoward incident takes place" within the days to return. "The CM and BJP need to make their stand very clear on this issue and they have to speak up," he advised TOI.
While the CM may just no longer be reached for his response, his media adviser Rajiv Jain to begin with mentioned there used to be no need for the CM to speak at the topic however later mentioned the CM used to be busy with his celebration.
Gurugram MP Rao Inderjit Singh appealed to both teams to handle calm. "I will ask the district administration to find a solution to this as soon as possible," he mentioned.
Jawahar Yadav, CM's shut aide, mentioned city mosques have ok room. "However, in case they need more space, the community can approach the district administration and seek permission to have namaz in public places."
