BHUBANESWAR: Rain and thundershowers accompanied via gusty winds and hailstrom lashed a number of districts in western Odisha on Monday bringing the much-needed respite from the sizzling heat. Trees and electric poles have been uprooted at a number of places, whilst farmers areas alleged lack of vegetation due to the rain.
Bhubaneswar too experienced heavy rainfall.
