Man kills brother on being asked to cook

GURUGRAM: A 25-year-old guy killed his elder brother through slitting his throat with a kitchen knife on Sunday morning in Saraswati Enclave after the latter requested him to cook food. The accused, Balwant Yadav, was once booked for homicide and a case was once registered at Sector 10-A police station.

Balwant and his elder brother Jai Singh Yadav (30), who're from Deoria village in Uttar Pradesh, have been staying in a rented room constructed for migrant employees, in Saraswati Enclave. They have been each operating as welders for 2 different corporations in Gurugram.


Police mentioned the brothers had no longer been in excellent terms with each different for the previous few months. On Sunday morning, when Balwant was once going out, Jai stopped him, asking him to cook food before leaving the home. This led to a scuffle between brothers, following which Balwant, in a feet of rage, stuck hold of a kitchen knife and slit Jai’s throat, who died on spot.


The tenants knowledgeable the owner after hearing Jai scream. The landlord called police however Balwant had already controlled to escape.


“We have stored the frame within the mortuary, which might be passed over to the family after autopsy,” mentioned additional SHO of sector 10-A, Dinkar, including that a case has been registered under phase 302 (homicide) and the investigating is on.
