MUMBAI: An Air India pilot was found lifeless in a health club of a resort in Riyadh on Wednesday morning.
Air India first officer Capt Rithwik Tiwari was found mendacity sideways in a small toilet room situated in Meydan Riyadh health club in resort Holiday Inn, said a source. The Mumbai-based pilot was in his thirties, the source added.
"The police were called in after there was no response from the locked toilet room. The door was opened by police," the source added.
The medical team called to the health club declared him lifeless. The commander of the flight Capt Renu Maulay identified the primary officer. "Air India Riyadh manager broke the news to the first officer's father. The Indian Embassy in Riyadh too has been informed about the death," the source added.
