Nurses lauded for playing pivot in healthcare

LUDHIANA: The College of Nursing, CMC Hospital, on Saturday celebrated International Nurses Day arranged via the Trained Nurses Association (TNAI) and Student Nurses Association (SNA) unit at the theme ‘Nurses: A voice to lead-Health is a human right’.

Madhu Gupta, chief of corporate social responsibility, Trident Group, graced the occasion as the manager guest and preferred the nurses for their efforts and difficult paintings in providing patient care. College of Nursing’s appearing major Dr Reena Jairus emphasised that nurses are considered as position fashions, kind-hearted and being concerned persons who promote therapeutic and supply compassionate care to the sufferers.


CMC Hospital director Dr William Bhatti also encouraged the nurses and laid emphasis on their position. TNAI president Balqis Victor opened up the theme. She talked in regards to the position of nurse in making healthcare achieve at each doorstep in the nation. International Nurses Week was once celebrated from May 6 to 12 and weeklong activities have been deliberate via TNAI and SNA devices (local department). Various activities have been performed all through the week under the steering of the school of the nursing institute. Ward 15 was once awarded the best ward and prizes were given to the winners.
