NOIDA: The Noida Authority has sealed a private gym being run from the the basement of a playschool in Sector 50, following repeated complaints by way of citizens who after all wrote to the executive minister alleging that commercial activity within the construction posed a threat to them. The citizens of B block mentioned that they had posted their grievance on the leader minister's web portal for grievances in December last yr after repeated appeals to the Authority went unanswered.

"The residents here feared for their security because men often gathered outside the gym at night and drank liquor. Other commercial activities have also been running at the building," he mentioned.
Sources mentioned a team that had visited the playschool last week had found that an unlawful building of 2 and a half floors had taken position on a plot simply at the back of the college. A guard manning the playschool mentioned the team had sealed the gym last week. BM Pokhriyal, mission engineer, work circle III, mentioned the gym were sealed because of "commercial activity" going down in a construction that housed a faculty.
Ravi Mishra, a former BSP candidate from Noida, who owns the playschool, denied the allegations of "illegal activity" going down.
