CHENNAI:A 17-year-old boy who did part-time dubbing and voiceover work at a studio in Virgambakkam has, in a grievance to the Child Welfare Committee, accused his former employer of sexually misbehaving withhim.
The minor, a Class XI pupil, had referred to as Childline to report that he was once sexually pressured by means of a 45-year-old girl, who runs the dubbing studio together with her husband. He gave the impression ahead of the CWC on April 24. The boy, who hails from a poor family, met the couple at an match in Kerala three years in the past. The couple volunteered to sponsor his training in Chennai and made area for him to stay with them. They also paid him a stipend for operating of their studio.
The boy stated he gained “suggestive” texts and was once “touchedinappropriately”.
‘Boy looking to avenge cop grievance by means of us’
The boy claimed issues started when the girl, a mother of two, started making sexual advances. When he spurned her advances, he was once physically abused. The couple then circulated pictures of his cupboard showing boxes of condoms a few of the dubbing artists’ circuit, the boy alleged. Unable to undergo the torture, he referred to as his mother in Kerala for help.
“We have recorded the case and transferred it to the CBCID,” stated CWC member Sheila Charles Mohan. The motherson duo stated they'd also approached the cyber cellular for help. When TOI contacted the studio proprietor, he stated the boy was once getting again at them for a grievance they'd lodged with Virgumbakkam police on April 17.
The couple claimed he had misbehaved with their domestic help. “We took him in and introduced to sponsor his training,” stated the owner, whose name is being withheld as the case is underneath investigation. After their help complained concerning the boy, the couple faced him. “He denied it. But we were suspicious. When we searched thru his assets we discovered wads of notes and condoms. We instantly lodged a grievance,” he stated. Virgumbakkam police confirmed they'd gained complaints from the couple and the minor.
