Coimbatore: Tamil language and tradition minister Ok Pandiarajan stated the state govt will arrange three onsite museums to display historical artefacts excavated from the places of archaeological importance. He was speaking at the southern regional conference on DigiHR organised through national institute of personnel control.
Panidarajan stated a sum of Rs 1 crore has been allocated for the onsite museum at Keeladi and the paintings will commence quickly. Similar onsite museums will be arrange at Korkai and Adhichanallur this 12 months. Pandiarajan stated the excavations at Keeladi have yielded more than the expected choice of centuries-old articles. In the past 18 days, 2,200 articles had been amassed, he stated including the excavations will proceed for every other six months.
So far, in the all the four stages of the archaeological explorations carried out thus far, more than 7,000 articles had been amassed. Half of those articles are in Tamil Nadu, whilst the rest are stored in Mysuru. Once the museum is established, these articles will be displayed.
Speaking about the Supreme court’s determination to shift the location of the Cauvery Management Board from Karnataka to New Delhi, he stated it was a victory. “We have all the time believed that the felony path will get us the desired results,” he stated.
He expressed hope that the political turmoil in Karnataka is not going to impact the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, this 12 months. When asked if the state would get good enough water to facilitate liberate of the same from Mettur for short-term cultivation in Cauvery delta districts, Pandiarajan stated, he believed so. “We are working on it,” he added.
