CHENNAI: A 23-year-old actor has lodged a police complaint mentioning that 3 males illegally detained her in a house at Kundrathur and raped her on Sunday, prior to making away along with her 5 sovereign (40g) gold chain value ?1.2 lakh and ?three,000 in cash.
The males lured her to the house after promising her a role in a film, the actor informed the Kundrathur police. After they trapped her, she said, they sexually assaulted her and videographed the act, threatening to submit the clips on social networking websites if she lodged a police complaint.
The police started a search for the 3 suspects according to physical descriptions from the actor, an investigating officer said. The actor received a phone name every week ago from a person who identified himself as a film manufacturer named Kumar, he said.
“The man said he sought after to fulfill her regarding a role in a film he used to be making, and asked arranged for them to fulfill at a location in Porur,” the officer said.
“When she were given there, two males on a motorbike approached her and said they would take her to fulfill the manufacturer. They booked a cab and certainly one of them were given in along with her whilst the opposite followed on the motorbike.”
When they were given to a house in Kundrathur, they locked her inside and raped her at knifepoint, the actor informed the police.
After getting rid of her gold chain and cash, the boys booked a cab and sent the actor house, she said.
