KOLKATA: An elderly lady was beaten significantly through her daughter-in-law over a trivial mistake - plucking flowers with out her permission. The complete incident was captured through a neighbour on his cell phone. Neither the victim, who was too outdated to visit police officers, nor the neighbour registered a grievance with the police.

The victim was known as Jashoda Paul (75), spouse of past due Santosh Paul of Boral Uttarpara. The lady who beat her up was her daughter-in-law Swapna Paul(40), spouse of Ranjit Paul. Cops stated Jashoda Paul is a patient of amnesia. Swapna Paul used to reside in Jasoda's house.
The grandsons of Jashoda, who were inside of the house, were more than likely snoozing when the incident came about.
