CHENNAI: A 55-year-old girl died and her husband and two daughters suffered accidents when a sunshade collapsed at the circle of relatives sitting within the balcony of their Mogappair home on Thursday.
An eight-year-old granddaughter who used to be sitting at the victim's lap, escaped unharmed. The deceased used to be recognized as Lakshmi. Her daughters Tamilselvi, Suganya and her husband Natarajan are present process treatment at Kilpauk Medical College Hospital.
Lakshmi used to be trapped within the particles along side the infant, while the daughters and her husband escaped with minor accidents.
Neighbours rushed them to the medical institution, but could now not save Lakshmi. Police mentioned Lakshmi secure her granddaughter via hugging her at the same time as she took the affect of the falling concrete.
