TIRUPUR: A 75-year-old lady and her 60-year-old son died after they were hit via a mini-truck while they were strolling on Dharapuram Road within the town on Monday night time.
K Parvathi, 75, of Thottam Street at Veerapandi, and her son K Alagarsamy, 60, went to a personal eye hospital on Dharapuram Road for eye check-up.
After completing the clinical check-up for both, they got here out of the hospital, stated a police officer.
When they were strolling on the highway, a mini-truck plying from Chettipalayam to Kovilvazhi hit them from behind. While Alagarsamy died on the spot, Parvathi died in a personal hospital close to New Bus Stand. After of completion of the postmortem on the Tirupur government hospital, both the our bodies were passed over to their family members.
