AAP-bureaucracy tussle echoes in Delhi assembly

NEW DELHI: The tussle between the forms and AAP govt reverberated for the second consecutive day in Delhi Assembly on Thursday with Speaker Ram Niwas Goel warning officers of strict motion if they do not provide entire solutions to questions requested by way of AAP MLAs on Monday. Claiming that the solutions weren't satisfactory, MLAs demanded correct solutions to their questions. The MLAs had claimed on Wednesday also that solutions to other questions especially the ones associated with power, earnings and education weren't properly replied which had brought on the Speaker to express anguish and contact it an “undeclared emergency” and direct the major secretaries of power, earnings and education departments to be provide all through the Assembly proceedings with solutions.


As the proceedings of the Assembly began on Thursday, the place the officers were provide, the AAP MLAs complained to the Speaker that the officers had not equipped correct solutions to their questions. AAP MLA Surender Singh had requested when vacant posts in govt colleges would be crammed up. MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj, who has alleged irregularities in distribution of compensation for land acquisition, had requested whether or not the federal government had bought land from 1997 to 2005 in Holambi Kalan, Shahabad Daulatpur and other spaces and if it was true that FIRs were registered on allegations of fraud, dishonest and tampering of earnings data and officers named in them. “My question on Thursday wasabout whether or not the federal government is paying the invoice of the suggest who is representing IAS officers accused in a multi-crore financial institution scam. The education division has said that solutions cannot be given since the question was associated with matters of products and services. In March LG Anil Baijal had asked the Speaker in writing not to admit questions about subjects like products and services, regulation and order, vigilance and land that are reserved subjects.


Deputy CM Manish Sisodia alleged that "denial of answers by the bureaucrats" was part of a “conspiracy to weaken the democratic system” and wondered the good judgment at the back of the denial of solutions.
