MYSURU: Former leader minister and Congress legislative celebration chief Siddaramaiah on Tuesday requested leader minister H D Kumaraswamy to act on corruption if he has come across corrupt practices.
Speaking to newshounds, Siddaramaiah mentioned the CM is empowered to crack down on corruption if he has come across such circumstances. Siddaramaiah claimed that he or his government had now not come across corrupt practices all the way through the five-year time period of Congress’ governance.

He refused to comment of Kumaraswamy’s assertion that Congress conceded leader ministership to JD(S) once they entered into an agreement. “I’m now not inquisitive about it,” he said.

He debunked state BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa’s claim that disgruntled Congress MLAs are in touch with the saffron celebration. Asserting that there is no dissidence in Congress, he mentioned the celebration MLAs are glad and content. “There isn't any want to connect any importance to Yeddyurappa’s claim,” he said. When requested about Yeddyurappa’s reward for him, he mentioned: “Six crore Kannadigas are praising me, and BJP has also permitted this. I thank them. People have blessed the coalition to rule for 5 years, and it will whole its time period.”

The septuagenarian chief indicated he'll now not contest the polls once more. “Before the meeting polls, I had mentioned this was my remaining election. Have I changed would possibly stance? No,” he mentioned.
