HYDERABAD: Banks in Telangana have up to now disbursed Rs 4074 crores to the farmers in Telangana for enter subsidy as part of Rythu Bandhu shceme.
SBI CGM (Hyderabad Circle) Swaminathan J instructed TOI , "At all eight banks Rs 4074 crore has been given to the farmers. At SBI alone Rs 1778 crore was disbursed. On an average everyday one lakh cheques given by Telangana government to the farmers are released."
Reserve Bank of India has up to now equipped Rs 5400 crore to the banks in Telangana for Rhthu Bandhu scheme as there was cash crunch within the state. RBI officials said that because of the supply of money there's no crunch in any part of the state.
Telangana govt has been giving enter subsidy of Rs 4000 in keeping with acre in keeping with seasons to the farmers . Government allotted Rs 12000 crore within the price range for the scheme which is the brainchild of Telagnana chief minister Okay Chandrasehkar Rao.
