Bird with ring around beak rescued from Delhi

GURUGRAM: After a week-long rescue operation, the Black-necked Stork was once rescued from the Najafgarh Jheel on Wednesday morning.
An eight-member crew including rescuers from Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), Nature Conservation Foundation and wildlife department rescued the hen when it lost power to fly. Also, it was once discovered that the ring entangled across the hen's beak was once fabricated from rubber.

TOI crew visited the rescue spot on Tuesday and found out that tremendous efforts have been being put in by means of the rescue crew. The crew used drones and field scope to locate the stork in morning.

The participants of rescue crew running at Najafgarh Jheel have been Rakesh Ahlawat, Sonu Dalal, Anil Gandas, Qasim, Dr. Debasish (a veterinarian), Sunil Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. The crew is accompanaid by means of a drone pilot Ajay.
