COIMBATORE: A Tamil Nadu BJP worker on Tuesday created a flutter by sporting a bullet in his bag to the airport right here to board a flight to Chennai.
He used to be, alternatively, stopped by the safety group of workers, police said.
State BJP secretary GK Selvakumar arrived at the airport and whilst being screened, a safety group of workers spotted the bullet in the baggage and instantly alerted the police.
Inquiry printed that the BJP leader, who had a valid licence to carry the bullet, said he had not spotted the ammunition in his baggage, whilst he used to be packing for the adventure, police said.
Later, he used to be allowed to board the flight, after he handed over the bullet to his driver, they said.
